Lakes Line Community Rail Partnership

Travel by Lakes Line to the heart of the Lake District.

The Lakes Line links the destinations of Windermere, Staveley, Burneside, Kendal and Oxenholme. With direct services to Manchester Airport and connections to the West Coast Mainline at Oxenholme the Lakes Line is a great way to travel to and from the Lake District.

The Community Rail Partnership was set up in 2006 by local people who wanted to support the long term sustainability of the Lakes Line.
